Melissa Burden The Detroit News Comments General Motors Co. on Tuesday made it official and announced it is naming longtime company executive Alan Batey as senior vice president of global Chevrolet. The Detroit News and other media outlets reported Monday that the move was coming this week. Batey also will lead U.S. sales, service and marketing for Chevrolet, Buick and GMC. Batey most recently served as vice president of U.S. sales, service and marketing, and interim global chief marketing officer.
